STEPHEN NANO – DIRECTOR AND PRINCIPAL CONSULTANT

Stephen Nano has over 30 years international experience in the exploration and mining industry. He is a founder, director and principal consultant of Global Ore Discovery.

He has over 15 years’ experience in running successful public listed and private exploration companies in Canada and Australia where he has served as Director, CEO and Vice President of Exploration.  Mr Nano has extensive knowledge of precious metal and copper deposits and has a track record for attracting investment to advance exploration and build shareholder value.

Stephen is a fellow and Chartered Professional Geologist with the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He is a Qualified Person as defined under NI 43-101.

  • 30 years’ experience as economic geologist across a wide range of terrains and deposit styles, globally.
  • Over 15 years in corporate management roles as founder, officer, director and CEO of successful publicly listed and private mineral and energy exploration companies.
  • Directly contributed to the discovery of a number several multi-million ounce gold and silver deposits and large copper projects.
  • Wide ranging expertise in tectonic analysis, target generation and detailed knowledge of epithermal gold-silver, porphyry copper intrusion related gold and Carlin style gold systems.
  • An established track record of successful corporate management and building shareholder value through discovery and resource definition.

DARYL NUNN – DIRECTOR AND PRINCIPAL GEOSCIENTIST

Daryl has 18 years experience as a generative and integrated targeting geologist, consulting to precious metal explorers in Indonesia, South American Andes, Tien Shan Belt Central Asia, Central America Volcanic Belt Mexico/Guatemala and Australia’s Tasman Fold Belt. He is a Global Ore Discovery founder and principal geoscientist.

Daryl has extensive experience in exploration & drill hole program design, management & implementation and has contributed to virgin system discoveries & new brownfields precious metal resource definition.

Daryl is Fellow of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists and member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He has held board and management positions with private exploration companies since 2011.

EXPERTISE

  • Extensive experience in exploration and drill hole program design, management and implementation.
  • Contributed to virgin system discoveries and new mine resources in the Maricunga gold-porphyry high sulphidation belt, Patagonia low sulphidation gold-silver province and low sulphidation gold-silver systems in Eastern Australia.
  • His 3D geological interpretation, project evaluation and modelling experience spans several mineralisation styles including porphyry copper/molybdenum deposits, intrusive related/mesothermal gold and uranium.
  • Expert at using integrated GIS, developing geological models and interpreting advanced spectral alteration mapping to analyse mineral systems, identify quality and novel targets and unlock unrealised value in exploration assets.

JUSTIN SCOTT – OPERATIONS AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Justin has over 15 years experience in the natural resources industry across a wide spectrum of exploration, appraisal, mining, rehabilitation and research activities. He has facilitated and led targeted, structured business improvement projects to enhance mine operations, delivering significant returns on investment. Justin has worked with Global Ore Discovery for over 8 years in several capacities, as a Senior Technical Consultant and most recently as our Operations and Business Development Manager

DEAN HARMSTON – MANAGER SPATIAL INFORMATION AND SPECTRAL SERVICES 

Dean has over 10 years experience applying remote sensing data interpretation to mineral exploration in low/high sulfidation epithermal and porphyry systems. Dean is an expert at remotely mapping alteration systems for epithermal Au/Ag, porphyry and high sulfidation epithermal Au/Cu/Mo systems. Dean’s field follow up of anomalies using Global Ore’s fully portable SWIR spectrometer has been highly effective for targeting in remote areas.

EXPERTISE

  • Dean has extensive knowledge when it comes to satellite imagery; WorldView, Aster, Landsat, Sentinel, Hyperion.
  • He is responsible for developing advanced techniques for image screening, acquisition, processing and validation.
  • Dean is expert at remotely mapping alteration systems associated with epithermal gold/silver, porphyry and high sulphidation epithermal gold/copper/molybdenum systems, having worked on multi-commodity deposits and prospects across Central and South America, Central Asia and Australia.
  • Developing and implementing GIS solutions
  • Dean was one of the first people in Australia to apply PSM-3500 field portable spectrometry to minerals exploration. He develops innovative algorithms for the analysis of shortwave infra-red spectral data which assist in focussed exploration and discoveries.

ROXANE NANO – CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Roxane is a Fellow of the Institute of Corporate Governance and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Company Secretaries and Administrators. Roxane has over 30 years Australian and South American experience and a track record for providing astute and timely corporate guidance and financial assurance in challenging and multicultural environments.

William has over 15 years’ experience in the Information Technology industry with an emphasis on challenges in mining and exploration environments.   • He has established an IT security-first culture, both internally and for our clients, adapting to the rapidly changing security challenges of modern IT
  • He has designed, deployed, migrated and managed JORC and NI 43-101 compliant geochemical database systems for our clients, and built innovative mobile field mapping and geological data collection systems for field geologists in some of the harshest environments on the planet
  • He has helped clients to identify IT workflow bottlenecks and developed solutions replacing clunky Excel and legacy database systems with collaborative, cloud based platforms such as Quick Base, at a fraction of the cost of traditional ERP systems
  • He is also proficient in geological spectroscopy, is licenced for Portable X-Ray equipment operation, and has undertaken many spectral geology projects that have identified alteration zones, using Global Ore Discovery’s PSM3500 infrared spectrometer.
